Tree Farmer of the Year Award

Hi, we are Bruce and Lisa Wachholz and we own and operate CEDAR CREEK FARM.   We were very pleased and honored to win the Tree Farmer of the Year award in 1998 for Dane County and Southern Wisconsin presented by the American Tree Farm System. Lisa and I were really just kids back then!!!

The award is based on sound management practices for timber and Christmas tree production and the use of good conservation practices to prevent soil erosion and preserve water quality.  It's our pleasure to produce high quality Christmas trees for you and to do it in a manner that is worthy of this award.

Tree Farmer of the Year Here we are accepting the award at our farm.  The America Tree Farm System is a national organization of tree farms that promotes sound tree farming management practices.
Bruce and Lisa We can't stand around and accept awards all the time!  Here we are "at work" during the Christmas season standing in front of our Fraser Fir pricer.

You'll always find us in blaze orange so that you can spot us if you have questions or need help with your tree.
